Colin was admitted to the Bar in 1977 after which he worked in Wellington.  He then travelled to the United Kingdom to work for a large law firm.  On returning to New Zealand in 1980 he joined Kendall Wilson before becoming a partner with Wilson Wright and Co in 1984 and initiating the name change to Wilson McKay.

Colin practices in the areas of Business and Commercial Law as well as Property Law and Trusts and Estate Administration. He has extensive experience in complex commercial dealings including property sales and acquisitions for businesses and large companies.  Colin has a significant trust practice, acting for many varied clients nationally and internationally.
